(Charlottetown, PE - August 2008) The Massdam will make sixteen visits to Charlottetown bringing over 20,000 passengers this year. The Constellation will also return for three visits with 5,850 tourists.
There are several ships making their inaugural visit to the port this cruise season. The Explorer of the Seas will arrive on August 31 for the first of four visits. This 138,000 ton 3,114 passenger ship will be the largest vessel to visit us. The HAL Eurodam arrives on Sept 7 for its inaugural trip. It will also be making four stops in Charlottetown this season with 2,044 passengers each visit. The Princess Cruise Line has the Royal Princess and the Sea Princess both making their first visits this fall. The Royal Princess on Sept 19 and the Sea Princess on Sept 20. They will be in port a total of nine times bringing over 14,000 passengers to Prince Edward Island.
